Due out a week before the scheduled start of the regular season, 2020 Donruss football marks the return of one of Panini’s lower cost NFL products. The release date for 2020 Donruss football is September 2.
2020 Donruss Football Configuration
Each hobby box will have 18 packs with ten cards per pack at an SRP of about $80. Cases will hold 18 boxes. An average box will have:
1 Autograph
1 Memorabilia Card
12 Rookies
6 Rated Rookies
12 Parallels
As usual, there will be blaster boxes and hangar packs on the retail side, each with their own exclusive parallels.
2020 Donruss Football Base Set
There will be a 400-card set that will be made up of 250 base cards, 50 photo variations, 50 Rookies and
50 Rated Rookies.

Autographs, Inserts and Relics
Highlights Autograph cards will chronicle the top plays and achievements of the 2019 season. Autographed versions will be possible, numbered to 99 as well as some Holo parallels that will be numbered to 100.
A throwback to the year 2000, Retro 2000 Autographs brings back the look and style of the brand as it was 20 years ago. They’ll be found only in Hobby boxes.
Retail products will have exclusive color parallels for Rated Rookie Autographs.
New inserts in 2020 Donruss Football will include Road to the Super Bowl, Champions, and Super Bowl MVP. “The Champ is Here” is a 20-card set highlighting the key players from the game including MVP Patrick Mahomes. Look for Hobby-exclusive Autograph parallels numbered to 49 or less and Holo versions numbered to 100.
New for 2020, Marvels Marvels takes a page from the golden age of comics for its design while Night Moves is another artsy-looking set with a dark motif. They’ll both be considered super short prints.
Inducted celebrates the legendary players and coaches of the past as they find their way into the Hall of Fame. Look for Autograph parallels numbered no higher than 99 and Holos to 100.
Look for multiple memorabilia cards that include autograph parallels from holdovers like Canton Kings (# to 299), Jersey Kings, Leather Kings, and All Pro Kings. Canton Kings will include Studio Series versions numbered to 25 and Autographs that are numbered to 10.
New to retail will be a short-printed Downtown! insert.
