It’s become one of the go-to products for basketball card collectors over the last several years. 2020-21 Panini Prizm Basketball marks the ninth season for the shiny silver cards that are among the most graded, traded and chronicled issues of the year.
2020-21 Prizm Basketball Configuration and Base Set
Prizm hobby boxes will hold 12 packs of 12 cards. Most boxes will contain two autographs, 22 Prizms and ten inserts.
The base set will be quite comprehensive at 300 cards spread across the 30 NBA teams.
Parallels will abound and although full details haven’t been released, among them will be Mojo, Gold (#’d/10) and Black (1-of-1) Hobby exclusives.
Autographs, Inserts, Etc.
Branded autograph content will include Signatures, Sensational Signatures and Rookie Signatures, again with numerous parallel versions likely in the mix. Zion Williamson, Ja Morant, Stephen Curry and Trae Young will be among the autographs on the checklist.
Panini is headlining Prizm Flashback, a new insert that will feature the NBA’s top players on the design of the first Prizm basketball set that was used in 2012-13.
Downtown Bound, Fireworks, Widescreen and Fearless are some of the insert sets and you can expect parallel versions across the board.
As with most products these days, you can expect to pay more than you may have in the past with an SRP of around $350 a box.
