Typically a post-season release, 2020-21 Panini National Treasures Basketball will arrive in mid-summer thanks to the delayed start to the season. The annual high-end cornucopia of autographs and patches will return, albeit well after the Milwaukee Bucks brought home the championship.
2020-21 National Treasures Basketball Configuration & Basics
National Treasures sticks with the tried and true: a single ten-card pack with four autographs, four memorabilia cards, a printing plate and single base or base parallel card per box. Cases will hold four boxes.
There’s also a First Off the Line version in the works once again with boxes holding an extra Rookie Patch Autograph parallel card that’ll be exclusive to FOTL.
The current release date for 2020-21 National Treasures NBA is August 11 but that’s subject to change as always. FOTL will likely sneak out a little ahead of that.
Autographs
The Rookie Patch Autographs are the foundation upon which NT is built. Look for LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards, James Wiseman and the rest of the 20-21 rookie class to be featured with on-card autographs accompanying large uniform patch pieces. As always, there will be parallels including 1/1 NBA Logoman versions that are always the biggest of the big ticket pulls.
There’s a new Crossover Rookie Patch Autographs subset with cards numbered to 11 or less. They’ll be printed on designs harkening back to 2010 and 2011 National Treasures NFL sets.
1/1 Logoman Autographs and Treasured Tags Autographs are back with a fresh new lineup of top players.
Clutch Factor Signatures and Colossal Materials Autographs are two other subsets to find autographs. Personalized Autographs will carry an inscription along with the signature.
Among the retired greats confirmed to be signing for NT are Kevin Garnett and Charles Barkley.
Boxes are available online for $3,500-$3,700 at the moment.
