If you’re strictly into autograph and relic cards, it’s probably not for you, but those who like inserts and parallels will find them in abundance inside 2020-21 Panini Mosaic Basketball.
2020-21 Mosaic Basketball Configuration
Each Hobby box of Mosaic will carry ten packs with 15 cards per pack. Cases will cold 12 boxes. Look for one autograph, 20 inserts, 15 Mosaic parallels and five Silver Prizms per box.
There’s no word on the size of the base set yet but the card stock will once again be of the Opti-Chrome variety with the patterned background look that is familiar to those who have bought Mosaic in the past.
Among the parallels are Mosaic White (#’d/25), Gold (#’d/10) and Black (1-of-1), all of which are exclusive to Hobby boxes. Silver Prizms offer a slightly different parallel look under the Mosaic label.
Autographs
The autograph subsets are limited to two in Mosaic: Autographs Mosaic or Rookie Autographs
Mosaic. Look for randomly inserted Gold (#’d/10) and Black (1-of-1) parallels.
Inserts
Mosaic will offer a lot of colorful content, especially among the inserts sets. Only limited informaton has been released but we do know that Hobby boxes will contain some inserts you won’t find in retail versions including Straight Fire, Center Stage, Swagger, Stained Glass and Overdrive.
The release date for 2020-21 Mosaic Basketball is September 17, but that’s subject to change.
