Set for release just prior to the start of the National Sports Collectors Convention, 2020-21 Clearly Donruss Basketball returns after making its debut last season.
This product is all about the acetate-style card stock that makes the cards a bit transparent. The cards will include images from previously released Donruss and Donruss Optic.
Panini says each box of Clearly Donruss will have four packs with five cards per pack and 12 boxes per case. Among the 20 cards in each box will be three parallels and at least one insert.
Base card parallels include:
- Gold
- Purple
- Blue
- Red
- Green
- Holo Silver
- Holo Gold
- Holo Platinum
- Holo Mosaic
Clearly Rated Rookie Autographs will showcase the top rookies from the 2020-21 class including Anthony Edwards, LaMelo Ball, James Wiseman and others. Parallel versions will include Red, Green and Holo Platinum.
Insert sets such as My House, The Rookies, Zero Gravity, Dominan and Star Gazing also come over from the standard Donruss-branded issues along with the all-new Retro Rated Rookies (see the 2018-19 Luka Doncic below).
Both will have a wide range of different parallels, including extremely rare Holographic and Holographic Mosaic versions.
2020-21 Clearly Donruss currently has a release date of July 25.
