With a three-tiered base set and one autograph per box, 2019 Topps Gold Label baseball is set to release on October 16.
Gold Label is one of Topps’ less expensive baseball products with boxes typically available for under $75.
Boxes will contain seven packs with five cards in each pack. Each case will contain 16 boxes.
2019 Topps Gold Label Base Set and Parallels
The Gold Label base set will again contain 100 cards but with three “classes.” There will be two different player images on each card with different photos used for each of the three classes. Rookies, veterans and retired greats will comprise the checklist.
In addition, there will be Black, Blue, Red and Gold parallel versions of all 300 base cards. Black will be the easiest to find with some showing up in every other pack, followed by Blue, Red and the 1/1 Gold versions.
Autograph Cards
The Framed Autograph cards will also come with the same four parallel versions as the base cards. Black versions will be numbered to 75; Blues to 50; Reds to 25 and Golds will be 1/1. New this year are Dual Autographs with Black versions numbered to 5 and 1/1 Golds also in the mix.
Relics and Auto Relics
Golden Greats Framed Autographed Relic cards will come with Black (# to 75) and Gold (1/1) parallels.
MLB Legends Relics will feature past greats with a swatch of memorabilia. The Black (# to 5) and 1/1 Golds should be among the big hits in the product. Gold Prospect Relics will feature up and coming players with the same low-numbered parallels–and a mini gold nugget embedded.
