Set for its maiden launch on May 22, Panini’s new Legacy Football stands among the earliest 2019 NFL releases. Legacy will mix a healthy dose of newly drafted rookies with some current and former players with a shiny parallel set along for the ride.
Each box will hold two autographs, 32 rookies (two per pack), ten inserts and ten parallels, on average. Hot Boxes will include additional inserts and parallels.
2019 Panini Legacy Football Base Set
For those who prefer a good-sized base set with a lot of different players and rookies, Legacy delivers. The base set includes 200 cards—not as big as Score but bigger than most. The checklist includes 70 rookies, 100 veterans and 30 former greats.

Legacy Premium Edition parallels will be produced for all 200 cards. They’ll be printed on Opti-Chrome technology in a rainbow of colors, including silver, bronze, ruby, sapphire, gold, diamond and platinum.
Autographs
Prime Penmanship Autographs will have both Rookie and Legend components. Dan Marino, Peyton Manning, Troy Aikman and Eric Dickerson are among the former greats whose autographs will be in the mix. Parallels for both include Gold (# to 50 or less); Bronze (# to 25 or less); Diamond (# to 10 or less) and 1/1 Platinum.
Futures Patch and Dual Patch autographs bring jersey swatches and autographs together and feature the new crop of rookies. Futures patch autos will have Diamond (# to 10) and 1/1 Platinum versions while Dual Patch autos will be numbered to 100 or less including Diamond (# to 10) and 1/1 Platinum.
Futures Ink Combos will include two draft picks that “make up a unique set of talent,” according to Panini, which has indicated they’ll be tough to pull, with base autos numbered to 1 or less and the rest numbered to 10 (Diamond) or 1 (Platinum).
Inserts
Among the inserts are Record Book, which highlight some of the best records both on a franchise level and all-time. Parallels include:

Lasting Legacies feature players who spent their entire career with just one team. Parallels include:
