We’ll know a little more about this year’s NFL rookie class when 2019 Panini Impeccable football arrives in hobby shops and online. They’re not the only focus of the product, though. In fact, past greats will play a big role in the content.
Each one pack box of Impeccable will contain eight cards, five of which will contain autographs. The other three include base cards or parallels. A full checklist is below.
Base Set
The base set checklist is limited to 100 cards, all numbered to 75 except for these parallels: parallels to Silver (#’d /25), Gold (#’d /10), Emerald (#’d /5) and Platinum (#’d 1/1).
Autographs
Among the big autograph elements: First Ballot Signatures, Master Strokes and Immortal Ink, both focused on some of the NFL’s all-time greats. Both will offer on-card autographs. Immortal Ink will be printed on canvas with each card numbered to 50. Master Strokes and First Ballot Signatures will be numbered to only 25, with the latter focused on the top retired Hall of Famers.
New to Impeccable is Canvas Creations, which include on-card autographs (max #’d /49) and parallel to Silver (max #’d /25), Gold (max #’d /10), and Platinum (#’d 1/1).
Impeccable Impressions and Rookie Landscape will be two of the other new autograph subsets this year and Panini says dual and triple-signed cards will also be part of the checklist.
Autographed Relic Cards
Elegance Rookie Helmet and Patch autographs bring something a little different to 2019 rookie cards. Each card (max #’d /75) features two memorabilia swatches and an on-card autograph. Those relic pieces aren’t just jerseys. Look for Nameplate Autos (max #’d /25), Rookie Helmet and Glove Autos (max #’d /15), Rookie Helmet and Team Logo Autos (max #’d /10) and Rookie Dual NFL Logo Autos (#’d 1/1).
Elegance Retired Patch Autographs (max #’d /75) include on-card autographs with an oversized patch and a checklist of all-time greats. Parallels include Silver (max #’d /25), Gold (max #’d 15), Emerald (max #’d /5) and Platinum (#’d 1/1).
Silver Cards
Panini will create cards embedded with one ounce silver bars that feature a variety of subjects including Impeccable NFL 100 duals embossed with the NFL 100 logo and what Panini calls “some of the greatest combinations of teammates from the past 100 years of the NFL.”
Other silver cards will feature NFL shields and the Super Bowl, among other subjects.
2019 Panini Impeccable is scheduled to release October 15. Boxes are available at prices north of $500 per box. You can check it out on eBay here.
