Collectors have been buying the Topps version of Heritage by the pack and box for a long time now, but 2019 Bowman Heritage are only being sold through the company’s website.
The cards are designed as a throwback to the striking 1953 Bowman set but the content and distribution are decidedly modern. An unknown quantity of Bowman Heritage was offered to Topps Montgomery Club members this week at $100 per box, with a three box limit.
2019 Bowman Heritage Configuration and Base Set
Each box contains 24 packs with ten cards per pack and at least one autograph per box. Each pack should contain two Chrome Prospect cards and each box should contain seven Refractors.
The checklist is made up of 121 cards featuring veterans and rookies along with 129 prospects. Prospect cards have both regular and Chrome versions.
Black and White image parallels (another nod to the 1953 Bowman Black & White set) will fall at the rate of eight per box.
Chrome Prospects will have several different parallels, starting with regular Refractors numbered to 199, down to 1/1 SuperFractors and Printing Plates.
Autographs
Autographs will be in the mix–primarily featuring prospects. Parallels will include Refractors (# to 99); Gold (# to 50); Orange (# to 25); Red (# to 5) along with the 1/1 SuperFractors and Printing Plates.
Don’t look for a lot of 2019 rookie autos, although Vladimir Guerrero is on that very brief part of the checklist.
There are no relic cards in the product.
So far, boxes have not been offered to the general public but you can find them on eBay.
