A new hockey card product will arrive in early March. 2019-20 Upper Deck Credentials is designed to bring the game experience to cardboard, according to Upper Deck.
Look for eight packs per box with six cards per pack with one or two autographs. Thirty-two cards in each box will likely be base cards, with the rest a mix of parallels, inserts and cards made from clear or metal stock.
Credentials opens with a 50-card base set. Base card parallels will include Red (# to 225); Green (# to 125); Purple (# to 49) and Black (# to 10).
Inserts will include Steel Wheels, printed on Metal Substrate and falling one in every sixteen packs. There will be Gold Parallels to chase as well. There’s another insert grouping that includes an acetate-style stock.
Among the top hits in 2019-20 Credentials are Debut Tickets, which feature the first game of this year’s rookies. Ticket Access will feature veteran players. Both will have Photo Variation versions. Dual Ticket Access cards will feature autographs from two players. All of the above will be numbered to 299 or less.
Star of the Night rookie and veteran autographs will all be serial numbered as well.
The Rookie Science inserts will also have autograph parallels.
