Their first came out in 1981, when the card collecting world was awash with new products aimed at attracting collector loyalty in a strangely new competitive environment. Thirty-seven seasons later, the 2018 Topps MLB Stickers issue will look much the same as the original.
Set to arrive February 28 in retail stores and hobby shops, the set is collecting at its most basic. While aimed at kids, it’s also an annual issue that attracts adults thanks mainly to that simplicity: no inserts, autographs or low serial-numbered parallels here.
You will, however, find Billy the Marlin and the Phillie Fanatic.
Again there will be 50 2018 Topps MLB Stickers per box at a price of around $40. There will be 16 boxes per case.
