Pieces of game and event-used baseballs will make an appearance inside 2018 Topps Dynasty baseball, set to arrive just after the end of the Major League Baseball season.
Dynasty will again offer one autographed or autographed relic card inside a protective plastic case at a price north of $300. All autographs are on card and will be numbered to 10 or less.
Autographed Patches – Past and present players will be featured on the checklist. Look for parallels numbered to 5 and 1.
“On This Day” Autographed Patches – These will be centered upon memorabilia pieces from a particular day when the featured player had an outstanding performance. Each will carry an MLB Authentication hologram. These will be numbered to 5 with a 1/1 parallel.
Autographed MLB Silhouetted Batter Logo Patch Cards – The familiar MLB local is the focal point here with each card numbered 1/1.
Autographed Dual Relic Cards – The dual relics will be focused on players form the past, carry autographs from two players and will be numbered either to 5 or 1.
Dual Autographed Patch Cards – These cards will carry two autographs and accompanying patches pairing what Topps says are “two of the game’s best.” Sequentially #’d to 5 with a 1 of 1 parallel.
Autographed Special Event Baseball Leather Cards – New to Dynasty this year, these cards will contain a game or event-used baseball piece from post-season game, All-Star events and other special days. Each will be numbered to 5 with 1/1 parallels in the mix.
Cut Signatures and Dual Relic Cut Signatures– Greats from the past who aren’t featured anywhere else in the product will be on the checklist of Cut Signatures, a list that will include Lou Gehrig and Roberto Clemente. All are numbered 1/1.
2018 Topps Dynasty is a hobby-only product scheduled to be released December 7. Boxes are available online for $375-$400.
