A high-end baseball card brand makes its return when 2018 Topps Definitive Collection baseball is unveiled July 6.
Each card will be numbered to 50 or less with all cards containing an on-card autograph. Each box will have eight cards including six autographs or autographed relic cards along with a pair of what Topps calls “Premium Relics.”
There are three boxes per case. Box prices are currently around $1,000 with cases at $2,500-$3,000 (see here).

2018 Topps Definitive Autographs
Definitive Autograph Collection will be the “base” auto subset with past and present players featured and 1/1 Red parallels.
Definitive Rookie Autographs will feature 25 top rookies from the 2018 season. There will be image variations for some. Green parallels will be numbered to 25; Purple to 10 and Red will be 1/1.
Legendary Autograph Collection will feature up to 45 all-time greats with a career accolade listed on the front along with the on-card autograph. There will be Purple parallels numbered to 5 and the 1/1 Reds.
Among the most elusive hits will be the Cut Signature autographs with a checklist of about 50 past greats. All are 1/1.
2017 Topps Definitive will again include Framed Autograph cards with over 30 different past and present players on the checklist. Look for Purple (# to 10) and Red (1/1) parallels.
Dual Autograph Collection will feature two MLB stars who “share a common bond” according to Topps, with Green (# to 10); Purple (# to 5) and Red (1/1) parallels.
Base Autograph Relic Collection cards will offer Jumbo relic pieces along with autographs of over 35 of notable rookie and veteran athletes along with

Definitive Autograph Relics will highlight elite veterans and retired greats with a large relic piece and an on-card autograph. Parallels include Green (# to 10); Purple (# to 5) and Red (1/1).
Autograph Patch Book Collection book cards showcase an on-card autographs on one side and a large uniform patch piece on the other. Team Logo Patch Red Parallels are 1/1.
Framed Autograph Patch Collection will include jersey patch pieces and autographs of veterans and rookies with Purple (# to 10) and Red (1/1) parallels.
Non-Auto Relic Cards
Definitive Nameplate Collection will be 1/1 cards with rookies, veterans and past greats shown alongside jersey letter patch pieces while Definitive Patch Collection are described as “unique jersey patches.”
Jumbo Relic Collection cards will feature current players with jersey pieces from special commemorative uniforms used on games in 2017 such as 4th of July, Mother’s Day, Fathers’ Day, Players Weekend, and more. There will be Blue (# to 35); Green (# to 15); Purple (# to 5) and 1/1 Red Parallels.
Game-used helmet pieces from MLB stars will be embedded in Definitive Helmet Collection. Parallels include:
