The NFL season will be several weeks past when it gets here but 2018 National Treasures football hopes to bridge the gap between the Super Bowl and the draft when it makes its annual visit. The high-end release is designed for those who love the thick card stock, on-card autographs and big patches.
Panini has released details for the product, which is set to arrive around March 13.
2018 National Treasures Basics and Base Set
National Treasures is pretty much all hits. Each one-pack box holds eight cards, six of which will carry an autograph. There will be one base card and one parallel per box, on average.
The base set contains 100 cards with a checklist of current and retired stars. There will be several parallels including:
- Purple (#’d /75)
- Gold (#’d /49)
- Jersey Number Red max (#’d /99)
- Holo Silver (#’d /25)
- Gold (#’d /10)
- Emerald (#’d /5)
- Platinum (#’d 1/1)
This season’s inserts are highlighted by a new set called ‘Top 100’ which features the NFL’s best 100 players as voted on by a panel put together by Panini.

Rookie Patch Autographs feature on-card autographs, oversized patches and are #’d/99 unless you pull one of these parallels:
- Green Jersey Number (max #’d /99)
- Holo Silver (#’d 25)
- Midnight (#’d to 20) NEW
- Holo Gold (#’d /10)
- Black (#’d /5)
- Red #’d (1/1)
- Red Brand Logo (#’d /2)
- Red Laundry Tag (#’d 1/1)
- Platinum NFL Shield (#’d 1/1)
Find more on-card rookie autographs with Rookie Material Signatures, also numbered to 99 or less and including these parallels:

A third rookie-focused autograph subset is The Future, which includes 20 of the top rookies in the NFL and limited 25 copies.
Search for on-card veteran and retired oversized jersey autographs with Colossal Signatures, which are max #’d/49 and parallel to Prime (max #’d /25), Brand Logo (#’d /2), Laundry Tag (#’d 1/1), and NFL Shield (#’d 1/1).
The Top 100 set will also have autographed versions, numbered to 10 or less.
Big hits will come in the form of booklet cards. Rookie Jumbo Prime versions are numbered to 99 or less, with the “less” coming in the form of these parallels:

- Brand Logo (#’d /2)
- NFL Shield (#’d 1/1)
- Nameplate (max #’d /10)
Look for an autograph booklet card featuring 12 of the best quarterbacks in NFL history with Treasure Chest Signatures, limited to 5 copies or 1/1 Platinum versions.
