Over 100 dealers from 18 different states and at least 75 autograph guests will settle into the Dulles Expo Center starting Friday for CSA Shows’ latest event at Chantilly, VA, in the shadows of Washington, D.C., site of this year’s All-Star Game.
The show kicks off Friday, July 13 from 2-8 PM. Ssturday hours are 9 AM to 5 PM and the show will be open Sunday from 10-4.
The Chantilly show has been held at the Expo Center for 21 consecutive years and is one of the largest events in the country with over 100,000 square feet occupied by sellers and service providers. The show is known for a wide selection of both vintage and modern cards and a large lineup of autograph guests.
Admission is $5 on Friday and $10 on both Saturday and Sunday. Collectors arriving in the final two hours on either day can get into the event for free. Friday is also free for those buying advance tickets.
In addition to the cards and autograph guests, the show’s corporate sponsor Beckett Grading Services and Beckett Authentication will be on hand as well as SGC and JSA. On-site grading will not be available but collectors can submit their cards to Beckett on site. Authentication for on-site autographs will be performed. Several auction houses, including show sponsor Robert Edward Auctions, as well as Huggins and Scott, Memory Lane, and Baggers Auction, will also be on hand to meet with collectors about consignments and showcase some items from upcoming events.
Several 2018 NFL draft picks will be on hand to sign autographs on Sunday including Josh Allen, Nick Chubb, Sony Michel, D.J. Moore, Tremaine Edmunds and Courtland Sutherland. The roster of signers also includes Roberto Alomar, Steve Carlton, Jim Rice, David Ortiz, Brooks Robinson, Dave Winfield, Antonio Brown, Brian Dawkins, Adrian Peterson, John Riggins, Deion Sanders, Earl Campbell, George Foreman, MMA Legends Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture and others. Prices for autographs or photograph opportunities vary. The full lineup with dates and times of signers, as well as all prices, can be seen on the show’s website.
The next Chantilly show is set for October 12-14.
