Topps has released the preliminary information for 2018 Bowman Draft baseball, due out December 14.
Once again, the product will come with two different options for collectors: Jumbo and Super Jumbo.
The standard Jumbo box will consist of 12 packs, each containing 32 cards. The breakdown includes 23 base cards, seven Chrome base cards and two refractor parallels. Each full box will contain three autographs.
The Super Jumbo boxes will have five packs and a whopping 600 cards in total. Look for 78 base cards, 33 Chrome base cards, eight Refractor parallels and one autograph. With five packs per box, you’ll get five autographs in the Super Jumbo box, on average.
Bowman Draft is where we find the first licensed trading cards of this year’s draft picks and it’s those Chrome rookie autographs that will sometimes sell for big bucks after players become big league stars. You’ll also find other prospects in Draft but if you’re after established big league stars, this isn’t the product for you.
Because there aren’t any photos of those fresh draftees to work with just yet, Topps isn’t able to provide a lot of details on what the cards will look like but we can get a peek at the breakdown per box. There are a few new insert sets and some fresh twists with 2018 Bowman Draft. Full details on each configuration are available through the product sell sheets below.
