Bowman Chrome baseball returns for 2018 maintaining the reconfiguration introduced in the 2017 release. Each master box will include two autographed cards, a Chrome Prospect Shimmer parallel card, and a Bowman Sterling Continuity insert card. The master boxes will be comprised of two six-pack mini boxes, with each pack will including three base cards and two prospect cards. There will also be an HTA Choice configuration that will include three encased autograph cards and HTA Choice exclusive parallels.

Base Set
The 2018 Bowman Chrome base set will count 100 rookies and veterans on its checklist. The base set will have a number of colored parallels including Refractors (#’d to 499), Purple Refactors (#’d to 250), Blue Refractors (#’d to 150), Green Refractors (#’d to 99), Gold Refractors (#’d to 50), Orange Refractors (#’d to 25), Red Refractors (#’d to 5), and SuperFractors (1/1). In addition some of the rookie cards will have short printed image variations and autographed parallels.
Prospects
Each pack will contain two prospect cards. There will be a number of colored parallels including Refractors (#’d to 499), Purple Refactors (#’d to 250), Blue Refractors (#’d to 150), Green Refractors (#’d to 99), Gold Refractors (#’d to 50), Orange Refractors (#’d to 25), Red Refractors (#’d to 5), and SuperFractors (1/1).
Each master box will include one Shimmer parallel. The Shimmer parallels will also have color parallels themselves such as Green Shimmer Refractors (#’d to 99), Gold Shimmer Refractors (#’d to 50), Orange Shimmer Refractors (#’d to 25), and Black Shimmer Refractors (#’d to 5).
Inserts
2018 Bowman Chrome baseball will have its fair share of insert cards. Peaks of Potential will include elite players drawn from top prospect lists and will have Atomic Refractor (#’d to 150), Orange Refractor (#’d to 25), and SuperFractor (1/1) parallels. 2017 AFL Fall Stars will highlight players from the Arizona Fall League with new Atomic Refractor (#’d to 150), Orange Refractor (#’d to 25), SuperFractor (1/1), and autograph parallels. Bowman Sterling Continuity are inserted at the rate of one per master box and will have new Atomic Refractor (#’d to 150), Orange Refractor (#’d to 25), and SuperFractor (1/1) parallels.
Autograph Cards
Each master box of 2018 Bowman Chrome baseball will include two autographed cards.
Bowman Chrome Prospect Autographs will feature on-card autographs of 2018’s top prospects and will have Refractor (#’d to 499), Purple Refractor (#’d to 250), Blue Refractor (#’d to 150), Green Refractor (#’d to 99), Gold Refractor (#’d to 50), hobby exclusive Orange Refractor (#’d to 25), Red Refractor (#’d to 5), and SuperFractor (1/1) parallels. There will be an HTA Choice Parallel with a unique chrome pattern with new Green Atomic Refractor (#’d to 99), Gold Shimmer Refractor (#’d to 50), Orange Wave Refractor (#’d to 25), and Black Mojo Refractor (1/1) parallels).
The 2018 rookie class will have on-card signatures in Bowman Chome Rookie Autographs with Refractor (#’d to 499), Purple Refractor (#’d to 250), Blue Refractor (#’d to 150), Green Refractor (#’d to 99), Gold Refractor (#’d to 50), hobby exclusive Orange Refractor (#’d to 25), Red Refractor (#’d to 5), and SuperFractor (1/1) parallels.
Bowman Sterling Continuity Autographs and Peaks of Potential Autographs are both new for 2018 and both will be numbered to 99 with Orange Refractor (#’d to 25) and SuperFractor (1/1) parallels. All-America Game Autographs will be numbered to 199 while Prime Chrome Signatures will feature on-card autographs of top prospects numbered to 50 with SuperFractor (1/1) parallels.
Relic Cards
2018 Bowman Chrome Baseball will include two sets devoted to relics. 2017 AFL Fall Stars Relics will include the top players from the 2017 Arizona Fall League with Orange (#’d to 25), SuperFractor (1/1), and autographed parallels. Chrome Auto Relics will pair on-card relics with game used memorabilia from top prospects, rookies, and veterans with Gold Refractor (#’d to 50), hobby-exclusive Orange (#’d to 25), and SuperFractor (1/1) parallels.
