Whether you’re buying gifts for a sports fan and/or collector or just wanting to take advantage of special pricing, the 2018 holiday sports card and memorabilia deals are usually a good time to find some of the deepest discounts of the year.
As for online sellers, here’s a list of some that are offering discounts over the next several days and the codes you’ll need to trigger them.
COMC — Anyone can sell on COMC and those who do usually take advantage of the opportunity to offer discount pricing as part of COMC’s annual Black Friday-Cyber Monday event that’s heavily promoted and very popular. All orders of 25 or more items placed on COMC from November 23 through 26 will be eligible to receive free shipping.
Just Collect — One of eBay’s largest vintage card sellers is offering 60% off in its eBay store through Monday.
SportsMemorabilia.com — Autographed sports memorabilia, sports cards, general collectibles and just about everything you can think of is available on this site. You can get 10% off your purchase on Monday–or any day during the holiday season with the code SCDAILY.
“As far as top players go, we’re selling a lot of Jared Goff, Patrick Mahomes, and Drew Brees memorabilia,” SM’s Taylor Lang told us. “Aaron Judge, particularly signed baseballs have been big sellers lately. In NHL collectibles, Marc-Andre Fleury and Auston Matthews pucks have been hot.”
Lang says this signed Magic Johnson basketball has been a top-seller, and the 76ers stars have also been popular leading up to the heart of the shopping season. It’s also the time of year when buyers splurge on higher-end players like Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Wayne Gretzky, Kobe, LeBron, Mickey Mantle, etc.
Fanatics.com — Sells apparel as well as collectibles and shipping is usually lightning fast. You can get 30% off your purchase Monday with the code MONDAY.
Steiner Sports — A player in the field for a long time, Steiner has exclusive deals with several athletes and partnerships with the New York Yankees and other major entities. You can also use BFCM40 at checkout to get 40% off sitewide through Monday (this might be the best of any Black Friday-oriented sales and is usually only offered once a year).
NFLShop.com – The NFL has bulked up their collectibles inventory in recent years and has some solid deals on autographed items. Get 30% off on Monday with the code 30YARDLINE.
MeiGray.com – Collect game-worn? The company that has deals with numerous major and minor league teams and NHL superstar Connor McDavid has an annual holiday sale. Details are available by clicking the “Holiday Sale” banner at the top of their website.
Topps.com – Topps is offering discounts on selected products via its website on Cyber Weekend. They’re giving away some free exclusive rookie cards, too.
eBay – While eBay doesn’t always have a coordinated site wide discount during Cyber Monday, it’s a good idea to keep an eye on them just in case and some sports card and memorabilia sellers do create their own discounts.
Target.com – Target does carry sports cards and you can get an extra 15% on the website Monday. You can get 5% cash back each purchase all the time by using the company’s Red Card which can be obtained here.
Of course as usual, the major online sellers of sports cards such as Blowout, Dave & Adam’s, Steel City, etc., have been running specials all week and will continue through Monday.
