It’s a one-shot deal—and apparently popular enough with collectors for a return engagement.
2018 Topps Archive Signature Series Active Player Edition will be released July 11, once again offering one hand-signed card (no stickers). The checklist will likely 
include rookies and veterans.
Each Topps or Bowman-branded card will carry a serial number and be encased with a gold foil-stamped Archives Signature logo.
Most will be standard autographs but there will be signed relic cards in the mix as well.
Topps also produces a ‘Retired Player Edition’ for Signature Series. This year’s edition of that product is set for release in the fall.
2018 Topps Archives Signature Series Active Player boxes are offered at around $50 retail online.
