It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but there’s never debating one fact about 2018-19 Panini Court Kings: it’s colorful. Another bonus? This year’s edition will have one more autograph.
Due out as the NBA regular season is winding down, the one pack per box product will offer ten cards in a pack that generally will include two autos, two rookies, two inserts and one parallel along with three other cards. Last year, boxes included only one autograph. It appears the memorabilia cards have been removed in favor of the extra auto.
When you pull your two rookie cards from the pack, they could be from one of four different tier levels. Rookies I will be the easiest to find with Rookies IV the toughest.
Panini doesn’t promise that all autographs will be on-card but at least three (Fresh Paint, Air Apparent and Legacies Signatures) will be and none will be numbered higher than 199. Bill Russell, Kobe Bryant and Charles Barkley are among those on the Legacies checklist. Look for Sapphire versions #’d/25 or less and Masterpiece versions that are 1/1.
Super short-printed insert cards will be found in Aurora, Le Cinque Piu Belle, and Gallery of Stars. Open a case and you might find one.
2018-19 Panini Court Kings has a release date of April 3.
