There will be 2017 Topps Mini baseball cards this year—but complete sets could be rare.
For a 30-day period, the company is offering 35-count packs of minis with base cards that will be identical to this year’s Series 1, 2 and Update cards along with some parallels and inserts at a cost of $24.99 per pack. Topps is offering packs exclusively on its website.
All 1,000 base cards will be produced in mini form so while the high-demand rookie cards from the set could be scarce and potentially valuable, piecing together a full set will be an expensive proposition.
Each factory-sealed foil pack has 30 base cards plus four base parallels (Orange # to 25, Blue # to 10, Red # to 5, Gold 1/1) and an insert card based on the 1987 Topps design. Those will also have Red (# to 25) and Platinum (1/1) parallels.\
