Plans are in the works for 2017 Topps Dynasty, the one card per pack high-end product set to return November 22. A preview gallery and checklist is at the bottom of the page.
Dynasty made its debut in 2014 and the fourth edition of the product will be similar in configuration to what it was last season.
Each card will be numbered to 10 or less, come enclosed in a protective plastic case and contain an autographed patch, cut signature, signed dual relic or cut signature dual relic. There will be five boxes per case.
New to Dynasty this year are Dual Autographed Patch cards which include two autographs and two patches from the game’s top players (# to 5 and 1/1) and newly designed Autographed MLB Silhouetted Batter Logo Patch cards, which feature the MLB logo and are all 1/1.
Topps worked with the MLB Authentication Program for “On This Day” autographed patch cards which include swatches of authenticated game-worn gear from key dates. They’ll be numbered to 5 with 1/1 parallels.
Dynasty Autographed Patches, focused on current stars, will have parallels numbered to 5 and 1.
The Cut Signature and Dual Cut Signature cards will feature greats from the past and be numbered 1/1. Topps has cuts of Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson and other legends it’ll be utilizing for some of the bigger pulls.
2017 Topps Dynasty is being offered online for around $430 per box. You can check out boxes and cases (and single cards when the product is live) by clicking here.
