The physical element of 2017 Topps BUNT will again be sold in box/pack form this year with the product set to arrive May 10. Once again, it’ll be a budget-oriented issue with tie-ins to the company’s BUNT digital trading card app.
Boxes contain 36 packs at an online cost of $30-$40. A complete checklist is below.
The base set includes 200 cards with Green (# to 99), Orange (# to 50), Purple (# to 25), Red (1/1) and Printing Plate (1/1) parallels.
There will be four different insert sets: Splatter Art (20 cards), Infinite (30 cards), Perspectives (20 cards) and Programs (30 cards). Programs will be a design based on game programs from a team’s ballpark. Each will have parallel versions in numbers similar to the base set.
Each insert set will also be expanded by 10 digital cards only available as in-app exclusives, available to BUNT users.
Insert Code Cards will be randomly inserted and include scratch-off codes that unlock exclusive, digital versions of the same cards in the BUNT app.
Autographs are going to be included in the 2017 BUNT release, but they’re scarce with an average of just one sticker auto card per 20 box case.
