Topps is securing autographs from past post-season stars for its latest autograph buyback product. 2017 Topps Archives Signature Series Postseason Edition is set for release November 8.
Like the other Signature Series products released over the last couple of years, the playoff edition will have one plastic-encased card from a previous Topps release with an on-card signature and an Archives stamp. A one-card pack will likely cost around $40 on release. Twenty packs will make up a case. It’ll arrive a couple of months after the release of Signature Series Active Player Edition.
There’s been no word of a complete list of signers and likely won’t be until close to release, if then, but you can see a few of the inclusions through the promotional photos on this page. 2009 World Series MVP Hideki Matsui would be a popular addition. The retired Yankee hasn’t had many certified autographs over the years.
Topps says there will also be dual autograph cards and autograph relics and that every card will be numbered.
Boxes and cases are available on eBay.
