One of the season’s most anticipated NFL products–at least for those who love high-end material– arrives Wednesday in the form of 2017 Panini Flawless football.
Yes, the briefcase is back.
All cards in Flawless are #’d/25 or less, all base cards are numbered no higher than 15 and all autographs are on-card or cut signatures.
2017 Flawless will feature more 1 of 1 cards and more patch autographs, according to Panini.
Among the new cards this year are: Rookie Gems Signatures, Red White & Blue (featuring colored gem stones), Flawless Shield, Flawless Symbols, Signature Gloves (featuring pieces of game-used gloves), Greats, Flawless Penmanship, 1st Round Gems, Retired Numbers Autographs, and Flawless Signatures.
The Rookie Gems Signatures set will have the top rookies of 2017 on signed gem cards including Sapphire (# to 15); Diamond (# to 10); Emerald (# to 5); Chocolate Diamond (# to 4); Canary Yellow Diamond (# to 3) and 1/1 Platinum.
The Rookie Patches Autographs set will have top rookies of 2017 on signed patch cards with base (# to 25); Silver (# to 20); Ruby (# to 15); Sapphire (# to 10); Emerald (# to 5) and 1/1 Platinum versions.
Shield Signatures along with the Symbolic Signatures parallel will feature NFL Shields and brand logo 1-of-1s.
New on-card autographs for 2017 include Tony Gonzalez, Michael Vick, Chris Spielman, Ty Law, Tedy Bruschi, Jeremy Shockey, John Lynch, Mike Alstott, Drew Bledsoe, Brian Dawkins, LaVar Arrington, Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, Morten Andersen, Priest Holmes, Rodney Harrison, Larry Allen, Michael Bennett and others.
Triple Patches feature three players, with none higher than 20.
Base cards will have Sapphire, Diamond (# to 10); Emerald – (# to 5); Chocolate Diamond (#/4), Canary Yellow Diamond – (#/3) and 1/1 Platinum versions.
