There was a draft picks version issued last summer but 2017-18 Panini Contenders NBA edition will be out next month with signed rookie cards of players in their pro uniforms.
Contenders offers ten cards per pack and 12 packs per box. Each box should yield a pair of autographs when they arrive around February 21.
Draftees have signed their Rookie Season Ticket autographs on card. You can also look for horizontally designed variations and Premium Edition versions, printed on chromium stock. As always, look for cracked Ice, Championship Ticket and Printing Plate parallels. It’s 
not just about current rookies, though. Panini dug into the photo archive for Historic Rookie Season Tickets which feature stars from years past (hello Kevin Durant, Seattle Supersonics).
MVP Contender Autographs will feature some current stars including Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Insert sets inside 2017-18 Contenders NBA include Lottery Ticket, which showcases the top 14 picks in last summer’s draft; Front Row Seat, which aims to capture players as they look to those with a court side seat; and Superstar Die Cuts, a super short-printed issue featuring ten stars of the past and present.
Panini will also include Rookie Contender Predictor cards in a game that will offer the chance to win Panini cards.
