Topps has created a few mini versions of its flagship set –and others—in recent years. The little guys are back again with 2016 Topps Mini Baseball, released this week as an online exclusive.
The mini sets contain all 700 base cards from Topps Baseball Series’ 1 and 2 in addition to ten parallel cards and a 10-card bonus set created using the 1975 Topps design. ’75 is the only vintage set Topps ever created in a smaller size.
The parallel sets include Blue, numbered to 10 and Red, numbered to 5. That would indicate a fairly limited number of the Factory sets were produced.
You can see the listing on Topps’ website here. Sets are priced at $99.99.
The checklist for the 1975-style bonus set includes:
BC-1 Corey Seager Los Angeles Dodgers (Rookie)
BC-2 Michael Conforto New York Mets (Rookie)
BC-3 Kyle Schwarber Chicago Cubs (Rookie)
BC-4 Mike Trout Angels
BC-5 Bryce Harper Washington Nationals
BC-6 Carlos Correa Houston Astros
BC-7 Kris Bryant Chicago Cubs
BC-8 Chris Sale Chicago White Sox
BC-9 Jake Arrieta Chicago Cubs
BC-10 Manny Machado Baltimore Orioles
