2016 Topps Archives Snapshots Baseball is the latest online exclusive from Major League Baseball’s exclusive partner. Released for sale on Tuesday, ach box carries one 12-card pack that includes ten base cards, one black and white base parallel and one autographed card for a price of $24.99.
The company is using its own images for the 50-card set, which includes a mix of past and present players. The design is somewhat along the lines of what old Polaroid snapshots looked like, hence the name. None of the images used in the set have been utilized in other products.
The only preview of the cards Topps has generated thus far has been in a single Instagram post.
The autograph checklist includes 12 different rookies, seven Hall of Famers and a smattering of players who could be there someday. Kris Bryant and Carlos Correa are among the young players who have signed on-card autographs for the product.
