2015 Topps Triple Threads Football will celebrate 60 years of the company’s football cards with ‘60th Gridiron Legends’ autographs. Numbered to 25, with 1/1 Onyx parallels, the cards will feature signatures from some of the best players of the past and present.
A sell sheet and full checklist is available for download below.
Releasing December 4, each master box is likely to cost around $175 for 14 cards. Topps promises each will contain an Autograph Triple Relic card sequentially numbered to 99 or less, a Triple Relic numbered to 36 or less, a Triple Threads Rookie Autograph Relic (single) numbered to 99 or less and a Rookie Jumbo Relic (single), numbered to 99 or less along with other cards.
As it did with Finest, Topps is promising that all autographs will be live in boxes (no redemption cards).
In addition to the 60th anniversary autographs, Topps is introducing Hand Stamped Autograph Cards, with rookies putting gloves on, then dipping them in ink and ‘stamping’ jumbo sized cards. The cards were then signed. Numbered to 10, they’ll be among the bigger pulls in the product.
There will be a 100 card base set with seven parallels including 1/1 Onyx and Printing Plates.
