2015 Topps Football will mark the company’s 60th year producing cards for the NFL and the company plans to lean heavily on past designs and include former greats when the product arrives this week.
Topps’ flagship brand will also be in its last year under its NFLPA license after the players signed an exclusive deal with Panini last summer.
Hobby boxes (see link below) are running $55-60 online. Topps is promising there are no redemption cards for autographs. All are live in product. Some autographs will be on card while others are on stickers.
The base set for 2015 Topps football will be 500 cards, up from this year’s 440. There will be 240 veterans and 99 rookies as well as an assortment of subsets including All-Pros, Award Winners, Team Cards, All-Pro, Fantasty Studs and more. There will be Rookie Base Card Variations (40) utilizing photos from the NFLPA Rookie Premiere and Veteran Base Card Variations (60) of photos from the 2014 NFL season. And yes, the catch by Giants’ rookie Odell Beckham is commemorated in the set.
Each Hobby box will have 36 packs and 10 cards per pack (likely priced at around $60 retail) while Jumbo boxes contain ten packs of 50 cards (closer to $100). Each Hobby box will contain either an autograph or relic card while Jumbos will have two autographs and one rookie patch card per box.
Insert sets available in 2015 Topps Football will include:
Topps 60th Anniversary (100 subjects): Topps designs from its most popular football sets of the last 60 years (like the 1962) are utilized to showcase NFL stars, legends and rookies. Each card will have a special foil-stamped 60th Anniversary logo. 1 in every 3 packs.
Topps 60th Anniversary Buybacks: Original cards purchased by Topps will be foil-stamped with the 60th Anniversary logo. 1 per hobby/jumbo box.
All-Time Fantasy Legends (50 subjects): These cards add a vintage spin to Fantasy Football as they showcase the greatest NFL players of all-time (1:4 packs)
Fantasy Focus (50 subjects): Top performing fantasy players from the 2014 NFL season, as well as those players who could break out in 2015 for their teams and fantasy owners (1:4 packs).
1,000 Yard Club (30 subjects): Running backs and wide receivers who hit the 1,000 yard milestone in 2014. (1:6 packs)
4,000 Yard Club (10 subjects): New design headlining quarterbacks from the 2014 season that hit the 4,000-yard passing milestone. (1:6 packs)
Past & Present Performers (30 cards): The greatest players from each NFL franchise, past and present, are celebrated on doubled-sided cards. The front showcases the franchise player of the 2015 season, while the back pays respect to a great from the past (1:6 packs)
Road to Victory (49 subjects): Commemorating every Super Bowl over the past 50 years (1:6 packs)

- Gold Bordered Parallel: Gold-bordered cards sequentially #’d to 2015.
- BCA Bordered Parallel: Pink-bordered Breast Cancer Awareness cards sequentially #’d to 499
