2014 Topps Turkey Red Baseball Set for Online Release This Week

Topps will begin taking orders for its newest online exclusive product starting on Wednesday.  2014 Topps Turkey Red Baseball will be packed much like its football brother with ten base cards and one guaranteed autograph per box.

There will be 100 base cards to collect with a simple front that includes only the player’s last name.  Thirty-eight different players have signed for Turkey Red, primarily youthful prospects but names like David Price, Buster Posey, David Ortiz, David Wright, David Freese (yes, that’s at least four guys named David on the auto checklist), Albert Pujols and Yeonis Cespedes are included.  All autographs will be on stickers.

Autographs will have black parallels numbered to 10 and 1/1 red versions as well.

There will also be 100 1/1 printing plates randomly inserted.

Topps didn’t release the print run but says it will be ‘limited’.

Boxes are $19.99 at Topps.com with orders taken beginning at noon Eastern time Wednesday.  Topps says it will ship them starting Thursday.
