2014 Topps Heritage High Number Baseball is set for release this week. The 100-card boxed set will return for a third year with each box including an autograph from one of 30 players including the late Oscar Taveras, who was killed in a car crash last month. Taveras is also in the base set.
Red ink autograph versions will be limited to 10. Again this year, the product will not be sold in packs and set prices are around $80-100. A full checklist is linked below.
American League Rookie of the Year favorite Jose Abreu, Yankees pitcher Masahiro Tanaka, Astros’ rookie George Springer and Cardinals’ youngster Oscar Taveras will be includedin the set.
Among the 30 players who have signed cards for the set are Jacob deGroom, Gregory Polanco, Marcus Stroman, Mookie Betts, Arismendy Alcantara and Aaron Sanchez.
There will also be red ink autographed cards numbered to only 10.
The base set will include players who made their debut after the release of the 2014 Topps Heritage last winter along with those involved in other transactions since the printing date.
