The newly released 2014 Leaf History of Baseball Cut Signature edition is the latest in the company’s line of autograph buy back products.
Selling for $40 at Target and Walmart stores, the blaster-style boxes offer one encapsulated autograph of a subject who had an impact in one way or another on Major League Baseball. The product made its debut in 2012.
The signatures are cut from larger documents or photographs, which are then slabbed and re-packaged. They range from the early 20th century to the present day.
Hall of Famers such as Yogi Berra, Bob Feller and Monte Irvin are in the mix as well as current stars, major award winners, players who were three-time (or more) all stars, famous umpires and big league executives.
