In a tradition that dates back to the late 1950’s, Topps has announced its Major League Rookie All-Star team for 2013. The list includes both of this season’s Rookies of the Year, along with Dodger sensation Yasiel Puig.
The Rookie All-Stars are celebrated on the following year’s baseball cards with the imprint of a trophy on the front. Here’s a look at the position-by-position winners:

The Topps Major League Rookie All-Star team began in 1959 with Willie McCovey being the first of 18 future Hall of Famers named to the squad (others include Johnny Bench, Rod Carew, Gary Carter, Andre Dawson, Carlton Fisk, Paul Molitor, Joe Morgan, Eddie Murray, Tony Perez, Kirby Puckett, Jim Rice, Cal Ripken, Ryne Sandberg, Ron Santo, Tom Seaver, Ozzie Smith and Billy Williams).
