2012 Topps Tier One: Sneak Peeks, More Info

Yet another new baseball card issue hits shelves next week with the arrival of 2012 Topps Tier One.  The company released some additional preview images of some of the autographs in this premium brand on Thursday and also promised that each pack would now guarantee one “Crowd Pleaser” autograph, one “On the Rise” autograph and one relic, with all being numbered to 399 or less.

As a bonus, every fourth pack will include an additional relic card.

Major hits will involve autographed cards from Sandy Koufax, Hank Aaron and Willie Mays and phenoms Bryce Harper and Yu Darvish.

Also in Tier One:

  • Bat Knob cards featuring some of the game’s greatest and including a unique piece of the player’s bat.
  • Autographed Parallels / Look for cards signed in Gold, Silver and White Ink
  • Clear Rookie Autographs / Top stars have inked their name on clear plastic versions of their rookie card
  • Autographed Relics / Look for single, dual and triple patch autographs and find Prodigious Patches with jumbo swatches
