Are you saving your wrappers? You should. We’re getting our first look at some of the randomly seeded autographed cards that are one of the highlights of the 2011 Topps Series One Wrapper Redemption program.
The bonus redemption idea has been fairly popular for Topps, which has had some sort of offer going for its lower-end baseball products on a regular basis lately.
For every 36 hobby wrappers or 10 HTA jumbo wrappers sent in, collectors receive a special five-card pack, which could include some autographed cards by players who appeared on the company’s first major set in 1952.
Each of the autographed cards is numbered to 60.
Topps announced earlier that there would be 34 different on-card autograph cards available.
There are 60 cards in the regular 2011 Topps wrapper redemption set.
