Topps will bring one of its most popular issues back for another go round in 2010.
The first packs are still a few months away from store shelves, but Topps did release (via Twitter) some of the company’s designs for the 2010 Allen & Ginter set.
A base card of David Wright, black-bordered parallel of Ichiro and a Tony Hawk autograph were among those shown. The design is similar to what the company has offered in its first four A&G editions.
The reprise of the famous 19th century Allen & Ginter set has sold well since its debut in 2006, with its mix of traditional and quirky subjects, autographed cards and other content. Some collectors feel the cards are perfect for autographing.
Topps hasn’t released details on what the set will entail this year. Boxes should be available by summer.
