Panini’s first official NBA trading card product includes ten rookie cards printed in lesser quantity than the rest.
2009-10 Playoff Prestige, the first basketball card product to carry the name of the NBA’s new exclusive partner, is on store shelves.
Panini, which secured an autograph deal with Kobe Bryant just prior to the set’s release last week, is counting on this year’s rookie class to help boost sales early in the season.
Each 8-card pack of Prestige Basketball retails for $4, with hobby boxes containing two autographs and two memorabilia cards, on average. Boxes and singles are selling now on eBay.

The company announced on Thursday that ten rookie cards in the set have been short-printed. The list is below.
