Panini’s annual Absolute Memorabilia football card product is built around rookie memorabilia cards and autographs.
Panini America has released its 2009 Absolute Memorabilia football card issue, with the company guaranteeing four hits per box and a majority of boxes containing two autographs.
Highlighting Absolute Memorabilia’s memorabilia program are the multi-swatch, autographed Rookie Cards. Slated to be the first material Rookie Cards of the new 2009 draft class, each rookie subject will be sequentially numbered to 299 or less and contain two jersey swatches, a football swatch and an autograph. Non-material autographed Rookies Cards will be serial-numbered to 149 or less while traditional base set Rookie Cards will be numbered to 499. Jets’ quarterback Mark Sanchez and Vikings’ utilityman Percy Harvin are two of the highlights in this year’s rookie class.
"This year’s Absolute Memorabilia release continues to build upon the Panini initiative of providing more unique, jumbo-prime memorabilia cards, than any other football release on the market," the company stated in a news release.
Absolute Memorabilia is bringing back its Tools of the Trade insert set–multi-swatch memorabilia cards. As part of Panini’s official sponsorship of the NFL Pro Bowl, it will be also incorporating a variety of materials worn at the NFL’s annual All-Star event.
