The 1/1 2008-09 Upper Deck Exquisite NBA All Access Triple Logoman Michael Jordan/Larry Bird/Magic Johnson game-used patch card topped all bidding in Goldin’s November Elite Auction.
Carrying an Authentic designation from PSA, the card drew 11 bids and sold for $540,000.
In all, 16 lots drew six-figure prices. One of the 90 1997-98 Metal Universe Precious Metal Gems (PMG) Red Michael Jordan cards sold for $420,000. The 1/1 2021-22 Panini National Treasures Logoman Cade Cunningham Signed Patch Rookie Card (BGS MINT 9, Beckett 10) made its auction debut, selling for $204,000, the most ever paid for a card featuring the 2021 top draft pick.
An autographed and inscribed LeBron James Cavs jersey from the 2008 season went for $198,000.

One vintage card collector’s supreme dedication went on the block at Love of the Game Auctions Saturday night.
A complete 520-card T206 set sold for $79,198. While the majority of the cards were low grade, the set included a complete run of 250 cards with Polar Bear backs (representing every known card offered with that back), and a complete run of 48 Southern Leaguers with Old Mill backs.
The highest graded 1921 Exhibit Babe Ruth on PSA’s Population Report–a 6.5–sold for $62,053 while a rare 1923-24 Billiken Cigarettes card of Hall of Famer Oscar Charleston graded SGC 2 realized $53,604. It’s one of only 12 on the combined pop reports of SGC and PSA.

Wheatland Auction Services and its retail store have moved to larger digs in Lancaster County, PA.
Wheatland and VSM Sports Card Outlet have shifted from their previous location at the Lancaster Outlets into a new 3,400-square-foot storefront at the Chelsea Square Shopping Center.
The new location is double the size of the company’s former home.
The company held a grand opening last Friday.

The puck shot by Sidney Crosby to score the 517th goal of his NHL career, leads the newest MeiGray game-used puck auction. . The goal was Crosby’s 31st of the 2021-22 season.
Other goal pucks from Ryan Getzlaf, TJ Oshie, Trevor Zegras, Kaapo Kakko and Jack Hughes are among 50 on the block through Dec. 14 at MeiGrayAuctions.com.
