Down the road from the National Sports Collectors Convention, the Pro Football Hall of Fame will welcome seven new members later this summer. A pair of autograph sessions with new and returning Hall of Fame players will be taking place, too.
The Class of 2018 will appear on Thursday, August 2 for an afternoon signing event but tickets—even at $500 a pop—sold out quickly. For that ticket, collectors and fans will get one signature from each new inductee: Randy Moss, Ray Lewis, Brian Urlacher, Jerry Kramer, Brian Dawkins, Robert Brazile and Bobby Beathard.
Photos aren’t allowed and you have to bring your own item. Those who bought a ticket also receive admission to the Hall of Fame on that day.
There’s another “Gold Jacket” autograph session in the works for that week but details are still in the works. Panini is sponsoring the event which will feature a lineup of players who already have busts in Canton.
The event will take place Saturday, August 4 from noon until 4:45 inside tents on the stadium field. More details, including autograph fees and a lineup of players, will be released in the weeks leading up to the event.
