Wheatland Auction Services’ final major catalog sale of the year is underway with over 1,000 lots of sports cards and memorabilia up for grabs.
The Lancaster, PA-based company brought the famous “Uncle Jimmy Collection” to the hobby. While that remarkable lifelong stash of Jimmy Micioni has now been spread to collectors, the current auction has plenty of other material including sets and cards spanning from early 1900s through the current era, bulk vintage lots from the 1950s & 1960s along with autographs and other items outside the trading card space.

- Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig cards, including a 1930 W554 Gehrig graded by SGC, 1936 Canadian Goudey Gehrig PSA 1, 1931 W517 Gehrig PSA 1, 1931 W517 Ruth PSA 2, 1952 Topps Look ‘N See Ruth PSA 3, and 1948 Swell Babe Ruth Story PSA 4.
- Rarely seen baseball team cards & boxing cards, including 1913 Fatima T200 Team Cards of Cleveland (Joe Jackson) and Pittsburgh (Honus Wagner), 1898 Postcard Legendary Boxing Championship SGC Authentic, 1890 N310 Mayo Cut Plug John L. Sullivan PSA Authentic and a 1979 Venorlandus Muhammad Ali PSA 9.
- Early 1900s tobacco cards, including four Lenox Black back cards with Arlie Lathum (PSA 2), a T206 Ty Cobb (Bat off Shoulder), Walter Johnson (Portrait) PSA 1, Christy Mathewson PSA 1, Tris Speaker PSA 1 and Frank Chance (Portrait Yellow) PSA 4.
