Glass display cases were broken and some of the better items owner Dave Chaffin had on display were taken. One valuable item fell on the floor as a thief smashed his way through to the items that were part of Chaffin’s collection.
It’s a long way from Cleveland, but dealers at the National Sports Collectors Convention might want to be on the lookout in case flipping the items is part of what appears to be a well planned crime.
