What Will Become of Bush Heisman Painting

When it comes immortalizing its Heisman Trophy winners, Ted Watts is the go-to guy.

For the last two decades, he’s been creating original oil paintings of each Heisman winners.

These are no paint-by-numbers quickies.

Watts is a master of the portrait and he spends dozens of hours making them look just right.

His works are now on display and he knows exactly what they’re worth.  Soon, though, the Reggie Bush painting will be coming down.   At least that’s what you’d expect after the title became vacant this week.

Watts talked with CNBC’s Darren Rovell.
