The market for high quality vintage cards rarely takes a dive. A 1967 Topps baseball set sold via eBay offers more proof.
Thanks to it’s player population, difficult high numbers and rookie cards, the 1967 Topps set is one of the most sought-after modern issues. It’s simple, attractive design usually attracts interest, especially when high quality sets are offered.
One that sold on eBay recently simply cemented the point that vintage card values aren’t going anywhere near downward, even in ungraded form.
A "hand-picked NM-MT" set complete with several variations, reported by the seller to be gleaned from vending boxes, attracted 22 bids and sold for nearly $7,000 this week.
