UPS has just donated dozens of pieces of sports memorabilia for United Way to auction on eBay. New auction items will post every week from now through September 3. Proceeds benefit United Way, which provides a wide variety of service programs and financial help for those in need across the country.
This is the fourth year UPS and United Way have partnered on a charitable auction, UPS' 30th year giving to United Way, and United Way's 125th anniversary.
Sports collectibles autographed by big name athletes and coaches, race-worn items from the driver of the No. 99 NASCAR UPS Ford Carl Edwards as well as other items from Roush Fenway Racing will be part of the mix as well as fan experiences, NCAA tickets and exclusive merchandise.
A few items are already being offered including a basketball signed by all four coaches from the 2012 Final Four: John Calipari, Bill Self, Rick Pitino and Thad Matta and a Zach Bogosian signed hockey stick.
