His rookie season never got off the ground thanks to a knee injury, but Greg Oden is still doing duties as Topps’ rookie spokesman.

He’s back on the court. Sort of.

Greg Oden, the Portland Trailblazers’ #1 draft pick in 2007, saw his NBA career stall before it started when a knee injury put him on the shelf along with those boxes of Topps basketball cards back in October.

Oden isn’t discouraged, though. In fact, he was more than happy to put on his practice duds and join two winners from Topps-sponsored contests for some hoops at his old high school.
