Joe DiGangi is one of just three surviving members of the 1933 Yankees. At age 92, he still has clear memories of the Babe and a lasting "souvenir" from the mighty bat of Lou Gehrig.
Joe DiGangi says he feels ‘blessed’. Hard to argue when you consider he’s lived into his 90s, played with the great Yankee teams of the 1930s and later became a successful homebuilder.
His house is full of wonderful photos picturing the one-time sandlot catcher and some of baseball’s immortals.
