Steelers Autograph Show Draws Crowd

Maryland isn’t necessarily Ravens country.

One current player was a no-show thanks to an ill-timed illness, but Steelers fans and collectors turned out to greet a couple of all-time great linebackers over the weekend in Hagerstown, Maryland.

BT Sports held a show at the Valley Mall featuring Jack Lambert, Mike Merriweather and a member of last season’s Super Bowl champs, Ryan Clark.

Steeler fans get high marks from the former players and the show promoters never have a hard time selling autograph tickets. “Pittsburgh is one of our biggest draws,” said Tracey Loar of BT.

James Harrison was supposed to attend, but had to reschedule his signing session for a future show. Why? The Herald-Mail has the answer in its coverage of the event.
