Topps, which has had its Crazy Variation Department working overtime since the 2007 Derek Jeter/George Bush/Mickey Mantle card made its debut, is at it again.
The company is no longer being coy, though. They're now admitting to some variations similar style to what it did in its regular 2009 Topps Heritage Baseball release.
There are six variation cards in the just-released Heritage High Number Edition. The variations are extremely short printed and picture--among others--Jeter as a member of the Boston Red Sox and Dustin Pedroia as a Yankee. The company also used some black and white images and used its 1960 rookie design for an Albert Pujols card.
